Fast No More is on a mission to end food insecurity and develop sustainable livelihoods for subsistence smallholder farmers in the semi-arid region of Central Tanzania. 1m people live here on incomes of only $2 per day, facing food security risks which will be further exacerbated by climate change.
DONATE NOW

There are three main ways in which we plan to achieve our mission:

Untitled-1-03

By investing in Conservation Agriculture (CA) techniques and training which at least DOUBLES harvest yields.

Untitled-1-02

By constructing simple Airtight Grain Storage (ATGS) units which can save 30% of post harvest loss from insects.

Untitled-1-01

By increasing the provision of two-wheel tractor units (2WT) to mechanise the manual work undertaken mainly by women.

Fast No More will also transform the lives of women in manual agricultural work.

Pilot projects have proved the benefits and we now want to roll out the three activities above to the 220 plus villages in Central Tanzania.
